Built Into the Skyline

Completed in 2007 as part of The Plaza’s dual-tower design, The Balcony was envisioned as an elevated gathering space built directly into Downtown Orlando’s skyline. Positioned 11 stories above Orange Avenue, the rooftop was designed to maximize city views, walkability, and connection within the urban core long before it became a dedicated event venue.

aVenue’s Acquisition

In April 2021, aVenue acquired The Balcony Orlando, bringing focused venue expertise to a space with established demand. Under aVenue’s stewardship, operations were refined, guest flow was improved, and the venue matured into a professionally managed indoor-outdoor setting for a wide range of events.

Central, Walkable, & Elevated

Set above the heart of Downtown Orlando, The Balcony looks out over Lake Eola and the surrounding skyline. With more than 15,000 square feet of open-air rooftop space and subtle market-style lighting, the venue takes on a different character as the day gives way to evening—allowing the city to remain present without overpowering the event.
